Chancellor's Message

It is a matter of great pride and honour, for me and for those who have been associated with a group of institutions functioning since 1994, with the dream of imparting the state of art education to one and all in the region, that our efforts have fructified and today we have a university, of which we aspired, and named it after the renowned name of Swami Vivekanand. On this momentous occasion I pledge that I and my team, will leave no stone unturned to make the name of the University and the place of its location namely Sagar globally known for excellence in higher and technical education.

We have focused much of our attention in the last few years on what an educational institute can attempt in its formative years. As with all planning exercises, we have achieved some of our objectives, while re-evaluating the others. Given the dynamics of higher education in the country, we will no doubt have to make new innovations in the areas which are barely imagery today.

The one constant reminder will be our commitment to maintain Swami Vivekanand University as an institution dedicated to diverse and ever expanding group of students, scholars, academicians, corporate leaders and intellectuals of the city and the region that we desire to serve.

Our success will be measured by the number of students we educate and quality of education we provide. I am sure our commitment will be reinforced by talented men and women who dedicate their professional lives to this university as teachers, research scholars and support staff, truly viewing it as a great place to work.

And last but not the least, I thank all the students, their parents, the teachers, the administrative staff and all those who are directly or indirectly associated with us for having made our current progress and growth possible.
